Africa

The Group currently has operations in Zambia, Uganda, Namibia and Botswana.

Bokomo Zambia (100% wholly owned) produces and distributes broilers, day-old layers and commercial eggs to other African countries.

Bokomo Uganda (100% wholly owned) has a breeding and rearing poultry farm producing day-old broiler and layer chicks.

Bokomo Namibia, based in Windhoek, focuses on egg production and the production of wheaten flour and maize meal and distributes a wide range of the Group's products in the region. It operates a layer unit and wheat and maize mill. A 50% equity stake was sold to Frans Indongo Group, a Namibian business, in 2007.

Bokomo Botswana is a 50% partnership with an established business, P.F. Brink (Pty) Ltd, and consists of an egg production and sales operation, as well as the production and selling of wheaten flour and maize meal.
